How do I manage DNS for the domain registered at PhotonVPS?

  1. Visit client area at
  2. Click on "Domains" link in menu and select "My Domains" from drop down menu or visit
  3. Click on "Manage Domain" button for the domain you wish to update
  4. Click on "Namservers" from the menu and select "Use default nameservers".  Click on "Change Nameservers" button.
  5. Click on "Management Tools" and select "Manage DNS" from the drop down menu.
  6. Enter the following -
    • Hostname - www, record type - A address, 123.456.789.123
    • Hostname - @, record type - A Address, 123.456.789.123
    • Hostname - *, record type - A Address, 123.456.789.123
  7. Replace the IP above with your VPS or Server IP
    • The priority option can be left blank
  8. Click on "save changes".  In most cases the system will update right away but in some cases it can take few hours to update
  9. You can test if the dns is working by visting and replacing with your domain  name.  
    • If everything is working fine, you will see the following message -
      • WWW A Record Your A record is: []
